Okay, so, honestly I just have to post about what I had the pleasure of eating last weekend: juicy dumplings and an ice cream bouquet! It was right before finals week and my friends Emily, Ryan, and I decided to go on a little excursion in LA. Our first stop was The Golden Pouch in Koreatown. Unfortunately, I couldn’t really get any good pictures of all the dumplings, but we got the juicy pork dumplings, juicy bulgogi dumplings, and shrimp and chive dumplings to share between the three of us on their outside patio. I definitely recommend going here for some take-out dumplings!

Then, it was time for what we really came to LA for: Gresescent! As soon as I had seen this place on Instagram I had been dying to go, which wasn’t that surprising considering they’re the only place that sells ice cream bouquets! Yes, you did read that correctly. Gresescent recently came out with this new menu item and it definitely put them on my ice cream radar. The place itself is pretty small, but they welcome you in with their tasting station and unique daily flavors to sample. I was already in love! Ryan and I both got an ice cream bouquet and Emily got two scoops of ice cream in a waffle bowl. Can you guess how many flavors I chose?

For my bouquet, I chose the five flavors of: vanilla bean cookies and cream, grilled pineapple and bourbon caramel, sweet strawberry jam, earl grey tea, and lemon bar. You get to pick five of their awesome flavors and get two scoops of each flavor in a waffle cone. Ten scoops of ice cream was a dream come true! The grilled pineapple was by far my favorite flavor and I think I had just as much fun taking pictures of my aesthetically pleasing ice cream as I did eating it. After we had finished our wonderful ice cream, it was time to head back home so we could avoid the crazy LA traffic. It still kind of took awhile to get back, but we were all very much enjoying our Friday of no school and no work. And of course as soon as we got back, I took a nice nap to sleep off all that ice cream I had just devoured…
